Upside Down Tomato Tart

INGREDIENTS:

  • package of pizza dough, thawed
  • slices of heirloom tomatoes 
  • tablespoon honey
  • tablespoon olive oil 
  • Pinch of salt 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees (200 degrees C).
  • Line baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Spread the honey on the prepared baking sheet. 
  • Top with the tomato slices. 
  • Sprinkle with salt and 1/2 tablespoon olive oil.
  • Place the dough on top of the tomatoes.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the tomatoes are soft. 
  • Let cool for a few minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
